⚠️ Important — Please Read Before Use

RepCount is a fitness productivity tool, not a medical device, clinical diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional healthcare or personal training advice. The information and feedback provided by this app are for general fitness tracking purposes only.

1. Not a Medical Device

RepCount has not been evaluated, cleared, or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Apple's HealthKit as a clinical data source, or any other regulatory health authority. It is not a medical device as defined under any applicable regulatory framework.

The app uses computer vision to estimate body pose and count exercise repetitions. These estimates are not clinically validated measurements and should not be used for any medical, rehabilitation, or clinical decision-making purpose.

2. Not Medical or Clinical Advice

Nothing in RepCount — including rep counts, form accuracy scores, exercise descriptions, category suggestions, or any other in-app content — constitutes:

Always consult a licensed physician, physiotherapist, or certified personal trainer before beginning, changing, or intensifying any exercise programme — especially if you have known or suspected injuries, chronic conditions, or health concerns.

3. Consult a Doctor First If You Have

You should seek professional medical clearance before using RepCount for exercise guidance if you have any of the following conditions (this list is not exhaustive):

4. Exercise Involves Risk

Physical exercise, including the exercises supported by RepCount, carries inherent risks. These include but are not limited to:

By using RepCount, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with physical exercise. You are responsible for exercising within your personal limits and stopping immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any discomfort.

5. Form Scores Are Estimates, Not Clinical Assessments

The form accuracy scores provided by RepCount are generated by on-device pose-estimation algorithms. They are relative, heuristic estimates intended to provide motivational feedback — not clinical biomechanical assessments. Factors that affect accuracy include lighting, camera angle, clothing, body proportions, and individual movement variation.

A high form score does not guarantee that your movement is safe, injury-free, or technically correct. A certified personal trainer or physiotherapist is the appropriate professional to assess your movement quality.

6. Stop Exercising Immediately If

Seek emergency medical assistance immediately if during or after exercise you experience:

Chest pain or tightness  ·  Difficulty breathing  ·  Rapid or irregular heartbeat  ·  Sudden severe headache  ·  Dizziness or fainting  ·  Numbness or tingling in limbs  ·  Sudden joint or muscle pain that is sharp or severe

Do not continue using RepCount or exercising until you have received appropriate medical evaluation.

7. Children and Adolescents

RepCount is not designed for use by children under 13. Adolescents between 13 and 18 should exercise only under adult supervision and with guidance appropriate to their developmental stage. The exercise types and intensities in the app may not be appropriate for all age groups.

8. Limitation of Liability for Health Outcomes

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Axewik Technologies expressly disclaims all liability for any injury, illness, adverse health outcome, or death arising from or related to your use of RepCount or any exercise performed while using the app. This disclaimer applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory.
