RepCount ("we", "our", or "us") is an iOS application that uses your device camera and on-device machine learning to count exercise repetitions and score movement form. The app is developed and operated by Axewik Technologies.

RepCount is designed to collect as little data as possible. Here is exactly what happens:
Camera / Pose Data (processed on-device only)
When you start a workout, your device camera captures video frames. These frames are processed in real time by Apple's Vision framework (VNDetectHumanBodyPoseRequest) running entirely on your device. No video is recorded. No frames are transmitted. No biometric data leaves your iPhone.
Workout History (stored locally)
Exercise names, rep counts, form accuracy scores, and session timestamps are saved to your device using SwiftData (Apple's local persistence framework). This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.
App Preferences (stored locally)
User preferences (onboarding completion, settings) are stored in Apple's UserDefaults on your device only.
What we do NOT collect:
All processing happens locally on your device to provide the following features:
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app on your device.
We do not sell, share, rent, or disclose any user data to third parties. RepCount contains no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking libraries.
The only external framework used for motion analysis is Apple's Vision framework, which operates entirely on-device and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Downloading RepCount from the App Store is governed by Apple's standard terms. Apple may collect certain diagnostic data as part of the App Store platform. Please review Apple's Privacy Policy for details on data Apple collects independently.
RepCount is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Because no account is required and no personal data is collected, the app poses minimal privacy risk. Users under 18 should use the app under parental supervision.
All workout data is stored only on your device. You can delete all data at any time from within the app:
Deleting the app from your device permanently removes all locally stored data. Because we hold no server-side copy of your data, there is nothing further we need to delete on our end.
Because all data remains on your device, it is protected by your device's built-in security (Face ID / Touch ID / passcode) and iOS data protection. We never transmit your data over any network, eliminating the risk of interception in transit.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or erase it. Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can exercise these rights directly by using the in-app delete function or by deleting the app.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice. Continued use of RepCount after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
